Just like that from my hall's window
I saw my woman’s silhouette ;
The screen kept her veiled
'Twas me though who wailed;
I could not see her beautiful face
Though she stood rooted in place;
God, do I miss her a lot
Well, matter of fact, do I not?
Is it the window or the woman I hate
Coz my love for her is in spate
I wish to propose her and marry
Well in that case, 'tis best to hurry!
I saw my woman’s silhouette ;
The screen kept her veiled
'Twas me though who wailed;
I could not see her beautiful face
Though she stood rooted in place;
God, do I miss her a lot
Well, matter of fact, do I not?
Is it the window or the woman I hate
Coz my love for her is in spate
I wish to propose her and marry
Well in that case, 'tis best to hurry!
